Anniversary CK-215

PUMA Anniversary CK, the model number is CK-215. The CK-215 was hand made at PUMA Werks in 1984 as a Limited Edition of 215 knives to commemorate the PUMA Anniversary of making knives for 215 years. The polished brass bolsters are made of brass and each has an arabesque hand engraving.

The handles are made of genuine antique ivory are hand engraved on the one side with a reclining puma and on the other side with the anniversary dates 1769 - 1984 by the well known Odenwald ivory carvers. PUMA packaged the knife in a dark green leather folding box with a certificate of authenticity.

This knife measures 9 3/4" overall with a 5 1/2" blade. The knife blade is also intricately engraved on both sides. The knife includes the "Puma Proof Mark" on the blade: a small dot or ping on each blade was made with a diamond pointed needle, part of the Rockwell blade quality testing. It has a 5 1/2" German stainless steel blade and is 9 3/4" in overall length.  

The Anniversary CK knife, Model CK-215, is a very special knife bearing Serial # 51 of 215. The knife features, engraved bolsters, hand carved ivory handles, acid etched oak leaf motif blade with gold inlaid etching. It was produced in 1984 to commemorate the PUMA 215th Anniversary of hand making knives at PUMA Werks from 1769 to 1984.
