Bird Hunter

PUMA Bird Hunter, the model number is 998. This is a 1990 PUMA Bird Hunter Knife. The brass liner is date stamped with 24091. This indicates this knife was hand made at PUMA the Werks in Solingen Germany in the 1st half of 1990.

The handles are jacaranda wood and a gold PUMA shield is inlaid in the front handle.  This is a PUMA Bird Hunter knife as it has the second bird hook blade. The knife is over 30 years old.

This knife measures 7" overall with a 3" blade. The front of the hunting blade is etched: HANDMADE - 998 PUMA BIRD HUNTER - NEW STAINLESS SUPER KEEN CUTTING STEEL
