Razor - Raisermesser

PUMA Razor / Raisermesser, there are various model numbers. PUMA used different handles materials and blade widths for the razors. 1994 Vintage Puma 73 0786 6/8" Yellow Straight Razor with a gold filled etched blade and spline. It is 5 1/2" long when closed. The item number is 73 0786. The guarantee control tag is 28491. The number indicates it was made in the 1st half in 1994.

It comes in the factory PUMA coffin with the PUMA guarantee control number and wax paper. The blade is full hollow ground and is made of carbon steel and polished.

The front of the blade has a very nice Gold Filled Etch on the blade and top edge and spline. The Gold etch reads: PUMA - GOLD SOLINGEN GERMANY 730 786. It also has Gold Scroll work on the blade.

This is a rare vintage PUMA top of the line razor in their line to find mint in the original PUMA coffin. The handles are very pretty yellow with a PUMA logo in silver on the front handle. The handles have two silver pins and one stop.

It looks like it just came from the PUMA factory in Solingen over 25 years ago.

The razor in the wood presentation box is a pre 1964 razor with tortoise handles. There are less than five that exist today.
