PUMA Whitetail, the model numbers are 960, 965, and 970. The handles were all made from Ivory Micarta.

The PUMA 960 Whitetail knife is the smallest of the three models. The PUMA 960 knife measures 6 1/2" overall with a 3 1/2" blade. The front of the hunting blade is etched: 960 PUMA WHITETAIL - NEW STAINLESS SUPER KEEN CUTTING STEEL - HANDMADE GERMANY. The knife features an Ivory Micarta handle with three polished brass rivets.The guarantee control number is 16281. This knife was made in the 1st half of 1982.

The PUMA 965 Whitetail knife measures 7 1/2" overall with a 3 1/2" blade. The front of the hunting blade is etched: 965 PUMA WHITETAIL - NEW STAINLESS SUPER KEEN CUTTING STEEL - HANDMADE GERMANY. The knife features an Ivory Micarta handle with three polished brass rivets. The guarantee control number is 21781. This knife was made in the 1st half of 1987.

The PUMA 970 Whitetail knife measures 8 3/4" overall with a 3 1/2" blade. The front of the hunting blade is etched: 970 PUMA WHITETAIL - NEW STAINLESS SUPER KEEN CUTTING STEEL - HANDMADE GERMANY. The knife features an Ivory Micarta handle with three polished brass rivets. The guarantee control number is 42682. This knife was made in the 2nd half of 1986.
