Super nice mint 1981 Vintage Puma Cougar Knife with Stag handles. The guarantee control tag date stamp is 26182. This knife was made in the 2nd half of 1981. The Puma model number is 16 6374. The Puma Cougar model is one of the most sought after knives made by Puma.
The knife is over 40 years old. This is a chance to own a great piece of Puma cutlery history. The blade is German Pumaster steel and the handle is stag with three brass rivets and a lanyard hole that is brass lined.

The knife includes the "Puma Proof Mark" on the blade: a small dot or ping on each blade was made with a diamond pointed needle, part of the Rockwell blade quality testing. It has a 6 3/4" German Pumaster steel blade and is 11 1/2" overall length. The blade has a full and clear etch.
