Mint 1992 Puma 51 3588 Waidbesteck Super Knife Set. The Puma model numbers are 11 3588 Waidblatt & 11 3587 Jagdnicker. Both knives have genuine stag handles with lots of character. The Puma guarantee control number is 48292 for both knives. This indicates each knife was hand made in the 2nd half of 1992 at Puma Werks in Solingen, Germany.
The handles are genuine stag with three brass rivets. The handle on the waidblatt also have a brass lined lanyard hole. The waidblatt blade was made from German high carbon steel and the blade from the jagdnicker was made from inbox stainless steel.
The Waidblatt knife measures 13" overall with a 8 1/2" blade. The Jagdnicker knife measures 8" overall with a 3 3/4" blade. The super knife set also comes with a genuine dark green Puma leather sheath.
The Waidblatt blade is etched with: 11 3588 HANDARBEIT - PUMA ORIGINAL WAIDBLATT - NACH OBERFORSTMEISTER FREVERT - GERMANY HIGH CARBON STEEL.
